Job Summary
Intern, Construction for 8 months in Toronto. You will work under the direction of a Project Manager on tasks such as construction estimating and product researching, document control, project scheduling and monitoring, scope definition and bid analyses, attending site meetings and coordinating with consultants, trades, and property managers, assisting with project closeout, and general administration. The role emphasizes learning from and contributing to a dynamic team in a fast-paced corporate environment, with exposure to design and construction of office buildings and related assets. Ideal candidates are currently enrolled in Project Management, Architecture (undergraduate), or Engineering/Engineering Technology programs and have (or are developing) proficiency with Microsoft Office and related construction software tools (AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project).
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in one of the following programs: Project Management, an undergraduate Architecture program, or Engineering/Engineering Technology
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Bluebeam and Microsoft Project is considered an asset
- Willingness to learn, collaborate, and contribute to project management teams under supervision
