Job Summary
Competitive Analysis Research Intern responsibilities include supporting strategic growth and market intelligence projects by analyzing the competitive landscape in skilled trades and infrastructure sectors at national and geographic levels. The role involves conducting competitive positioning, pricing analysis for earned revenue products, primary and desktop research (including AI prompting), data synthesis, and producing clear written and verbal reports. The intern will attend project meetings and contribute to discussions on market strategy and product development, with a focus on workforce development within Per Scholas' training programs.
Required Qualifications
- Current undergraduate student with a strong interest in research, market analysis, or business strategy; alternative backgrounds eligible when the required skills have been obtained without a degree
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Proficiency in research methodologies and data analysis
- Ability to utilize AI prompting to enhance research efficiency and synthesis
- A strong bias toward learning and inquiry, with an ability to identify the 'so what?' in complex data
- Excitement to learn about and contribute to the field of workforce development
