Job Summary
Intern, Community Engagement will provide administrative support to the CE team and assist with charitable donations, fostering relationships with community partners and beneficiaries, and event planning and execution. Responsibilities include coordinating and fulfilling community requests, entering and updating donations in Excel, organizing the Rolling Thunder Book Bus visits, maintaining program mailings/databases, assisting in game-night activities (auctions, raffles, fundraisers), collaborating to plan event details, loading/driving the department van for events, maintaining supplies at arenas and storage, participating in internship activities, and performing other duties. Required skills and capabilities include proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong attention to detail, teamwork, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects; this is an in-person Fall 2026 internship based in Oklahoma City at the Paycom Center with a schedule of 15-20 hours per week, involving evenings, weekends, and holidays. Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and eligible to receive academic course credit for the internship
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and ability to see projects through completion
- Self-starter with the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
- Excellent oral, written, and listening communication skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks, while working collaboratively with others
