Job Summary
Analyze business documents and financial data to prepare journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts, and draft tax information. Test SOX and Non-SOX controls in auditing and assist with budget preparation. Interface with various departments to develop collaborative relationships. This summer internship offers on-the-job training in petroleum industry dynamics and software usage. Accounting majors are preferred, with opportunities to progress into complex analysis, process enhancement, and mentoring roles. Locations include Findlay, San Antonio, Denver, and other sites.
Required Qualifications
- Accounting major
- Strong academic performance
- Authorized to work in the US on a full-time indefinite basis without the need for employment visa sponsorship now or in the future
- Concurrent enrollment in a bachelors degree (or higher) seeking program for the duration of the experience
- Ability to provide reliable transportation to and from place of work
- Availability to work 40 hours per week
