Job Summary
Intern – Chemical & Process Engineering role focused on hands-on experience in process engineering tasks: proactive technical monitoring, daily production support, reviewing process control philosophy, operating windows, alarm configurations, and SIF tagging; design operating considerations, design review of process units, and site-wide alarm/database management. Build networks, gain exposure to energy industry practices, work on technical assignments and reports, understand gas processing operations, and contribute to projects with real business impact while pursuing internship objectives in collaboration with experienced Shell engineers in Malaysia.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering as a penultimate/final year student
- Minimum CGPA 3.0 and above
- Minimum 6 months of internship commitment
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software (knowledge in automation/data analytical tools is a plus)
