Job Summary
Intern Cath Lab Tech role focused on developing through a structured training pathway: assisting with preparation and setup of cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, and structural heart procedures; supporting physicians during invasive procedures; performing imaging and hemodynamic monitoring under supervision; maintaining sterile field and procedural workflow; ensuring radiation safety and infection prevention; participating in call coverage as milestones are achieved; completing required educational modules and certification preparation activities; designed to transition students/recent grads into permanent Cath Lab Technologist roles with mentorship and competency-based progression.
Required Qualifications
- Registry eligible for ARRT, RCIS, certified surgical technologist or other applicable credential (if pathway requires)
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Minimum Requirements: within one year of graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, Electrophysiology Technology, Interventional Radiology, or Surgical Technologist program
