Job Summary
The Cadence Tensilica CPU Processor Team is seeking engineering interns to join their R&D team. Responsibilities include working as a member of the Logic Design Team for Xtensa processors, implementing RTL for microprocessor cores, running synthesis, and developing test plans. The internship requires a strong understanding of digital design and proficiency in automation scripting, with a preference for candidates pursuing degrees in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar major
- Deep understanding of Digital Design Fundamentals
- Excellent automation skills using Tcl, Perl, shell scripting
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
Desired Qualifications
- Exposure to design automation tools is a plus
