Job Summary
Intermodal Logistics Coordinator responsible for managing and coordinating domestic and international shipments by Air, Ocean (FCL/LCL), Truck, and Express Courier. Duties include evaluating shipments, consolidating loads to optimize cost, communicating with customers daily to resolve issues within 24 hours, sourcing and vetting carriers with proper permits and compliance, preparing and distributing all documentation, coordinating with Brokerage/CFS/SSL for customs and inspections, identifying opportunities to reduce costs and increase revenue, maintaining shipment files in the TMS, tracking loads to meet service deadlines, and collaborating with team members on daily operations and billing inquiries.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of port/rail dispatch experience, including Imports, Exports, LCL, and Air Freight.
- Experience with Hazmat cargo and related transport requirements preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, WMS, and TMS systems.
- Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and follow-up discipline.
- Excellent communication skills—verbal, written, and listening.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-focused with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Driven, self-motivated, and results-oriented with a team-first attitude.
- Persuasive and influential in coordinating multiple stakeholders.
