Job Summary
The Intermittent Physician - Radiologist is responsible for interpreting diagnostic images including radiography, fluoroscopy, mammography, ultrasound, MRI, and CT within SEARHC. Key duties involve making independent judgments on image interpretations, collaborating with other radiologists, and initiating necessary patient-provider communications to enhance patient care. The role includes supervising and approving radiological examinations and providing educational programs regarding radiologic services. Applicants must have completed residency training in diagnostic radiology, hold relevant certifications, and possess extensive knowledge of imaging modalities.
Required Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O.
- Satisfactory completion of AMA approved Radiology Residency and Board Certification in Radiology
- Current BLS Certification
- Licensed in the state of Alaska
