Job Summary
Intermediate Welder / Fabricator responsible for reading and interpreting engineering drawings, fabricating and welding aluminum and stainless steel components using various shop equipment and tools, ensuring weld quality, inspecting welds, mentoring team members, maintaining a safe and clean workspace, and supporting QA/QC activities. Requires ability to read weld symbols, work with aluminum and stainless steel, perform site work and travel as needed, and adherence to safety requirements per WorkSafe BC / AWC.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Accredited Trade school or equivalent experience
- 3+ years relevant fabrication and welding or equivalent
- 2+ years as a Junior fabricator / welder or equivalent
- Certifications: CWB & ASME (as applicable)
