Job Summary
Lead the design, configuration, and commissioning of Emerson Delta V Distributed Control Systems, covering graphics, alarms, historians, and communication protocols like Modbus and OPC. Oversee system architecture design, integration with third-party systems, and FAT through SAT handovers while troubleshooting existing control systems for loop tuning and fault diagnosis. Collaborate with clients, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver technical presentations and ensure successful project outcomes. Mentor junior engineers in Delta V system design and implementation. Requires 5+ years of Delta V experience, Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, and knowledge of batch process control standards. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience working with Delta V DCS, including system design, configuration, and commissioning
- Demonstrated expertise in Delta V Batch and S88 batch process control standards
- Strong understanding of process control systems, including P&ID interpretation, control loop tuning, and alarm management
- Experience leading automation projects in sectors such as pharmaceuticals, oil & gas, chemicals, or related industries
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with clients, write detailed reports, and present technical solutions clearly
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with PLC programming and integration with Delta V systems
- Knowledge of industrial cybersecurity best practices
