Job Summary
Conduct active hunt activities based on current cyber threat intelligence and the MITRE ATT&CK Framework to identify indications of potential compromise. Reconstruct event series leading to breaches and develop hunt activities derived from attack hypotheses. Collaborate with threat intelligence services to establish tactics, techniques, and procedures for prioritized cyber actors. Receive and apply intelligence including IOCs and TTPs to scan networks. Maintain and update Threat Hunting Concept of Operations and SOPs. Requires BS degree in Cybersecurity or related field, 5+ years of threat hunting experience, US citizenship, and Top Secret clearance eligibility. Located in Washington, D.C. with salary up to $123,000.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline
- 5+ years of experience in threat hunting and threat analysis
- Must be a US citizen
- Background check with the ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance
- Must be able to pass a Criminal and Financial Background Check prior to starting
Desired Qualifications
- CompTIA PenTest+, CompTIA CySA+, EC-Council CEH, or similar level certification
- Knowledge of and experience with the MITRE ATT&CK Framework
- Experience conducting threat-hunting activities in an enterprise environment
