Oversee SQL Server installation, configuration, and maintenance, including patching, updates, and regular health checks. Monitor database performance to identify bottlenecks, then implement solutions like index optimization, query tuning, and capacity planning. Design and manage high availability solutions such as AlwaysOn Availability Groups, while enforcing security policies and managing user access. Proactively troubleshoot incidents and resolve performance issues within defined service level agreements. Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to support application development, data integration, and system upgrades. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior DBAs.
