Intermediate Specialist, Digital Communications and Change Management

Job Summary
Plan and manage change management projects; develop change management strategies including job aids and communications for strategic technology and digital initiatives to support user-centric adoption and productivity gains; design and implement innovative digital communication strategies to meet business objectives; generate narratives for presentations to influence audience adoption of upcoming IT changes; provide expert communications advice to IT project managers and leadership, supporting governance and enterprise-wide initiatives; support CIO, Deputy CIO and IT executives in high-impact leadership communications; oversee operational processes related to managing service websites; translate complex IT concepts into business language for diverse audiences; coordinate with SMEs, technical leads, designers, developers, managers, and executives; ensure content aligns with policies and accessibility guidelines; bilingual English/French required; 5+ years of experience in IT/digital transformation environments; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; located in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada with hybrid work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in communication or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- At least five (5) years of experience in a similar role
- Experience in writing, editing and proofreading
- Experience adapting content for different audiences
- Experience creating and managing websites; content management systems; user interface design; web accessibility
- Experience creating and executing digital communications strategies
- Experience creating and implementing social media plans
- Bilingualism — English/French (spoken and written)
