Intermediate Software QA Engineer - Quality Assurance Department

Job Summary
Analyze requirements to develop comprehensive test scenarios and design cases for functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and exploratory testing. Identify and track defects while verifying fixes and performing regression testing. Collaborate with developers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners to estimate testing effort and support project planning. Review documentation for accuracy, support UAT and production release validation, and contribute to QA standards. Mentor junior QA engineers when needed. Requires a Bachelor's degree, 3–5 years of experience, SQL knowledge, and proficiency with Jira, Azure DevOps, or TestRail. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field
- 3–5 years of QA experience
- Good knowledge of SQL and database validation
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail)
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English
- Ability to manage multiple testing activities with minimal supervision
Desired Qualifications
- Experience mentoring or coaching junior QA engineers
- Experience in enterprise software environments
