Job Summary
Provide instruction in science and social studies to 4th-grade students for the 2026-2027 school year. Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with campus and TEKS requirements, differentiate for diverse learning styles, assess student achievement, and use data to inform instruction. Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula per IEPs, participate in ARD meetings, integrate technology to support learning, and maintain open communication with parents and staff. Supervise teacher aides and volunteers, participate in faculty activities, and uphold district policies and confidentiality.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or required training for subject and level
- Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned
