Job Summary
Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout of complex, large-scale engineering and capital projects within the chemical and industrial sectors. Develop execution plans, schedules, budgets, and staffing strategies while providing strategic direction to multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment with scope, quality, schedule, and financial objectives. Serve as the senior point of contact for clients, joint venture partners, contractors, and vendors to drive resolution of critical issues and maintain strong relationships. Oversee project financial performance, including forecasting, revenue recognition, and cost control, while managing risks, contracts, and change orders. Champion safety culture and ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality standards. Lead, mentor project managers and engineers, and facilitate collaboration across geographically dispersed teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related technical discipline
- 3+ years of project management experience within engineering, chemical processing, industrial manufacturing, infrastructure, or related sectors
- Proven experience managing large-scale, multidisciplinary engineering or capital projects in a consulting, EPC, or industrial environment
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, project controls, budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, contract management, and risk mitigation practices
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, contractors, and geographically distributed teams
- Strong knowledge of applicable industry regulations, safety standards, and engineering project delivery practices
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple complex priorities in a fast-paced global environment
- Proficiency with general project management, scheduling, financial reporting, and collaboration software tools
