Job Summary
Create new actuator designs and all relevant manufacturing documentation, verifying them with Solidworks Simulation. Prototype and test designs using practical machinery while sourcing parts from local and overseas suppliers. Produce technical datasheets, instruction manuals, and internal product education packages to lead the product education campaign. Manage purchasing, assembly, and quality control of linear actuators, submitting designs for certifications and resolving product issues based on customer feedback. Work with the Marketing team to launch products and coordinate with the Research & Development Manager and Senior Mechanical Engineer through the complete product development lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in product development and manufacturing
- Experience with linear actuators, motor control, and manufacturing
- Strong project management skills
- North American manufacturing standards and certification
- Microsoft office
- Solidworks

- Knowledge and fluency to coordinate with overseas manufacturing
