Job Summary
Lead the development of drawings and 3D models to create system designs, including fabrication, assembly, erection, and general arrangement drawings, while acting as design team lead on projects. Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to achieve project outcomes, support sales teams with proposals and cost estimates, and mentor junior team members. Stay updated with industry best practices through training and self-improvement initiatives while aiding continual improvement of Quality Management System practices. Travel less than 10% across North America to visit project sites and client facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma from Technical Institutions with CAD courses
- 5-10 Years of experience in mechanical design of equipment and packages
- Experience with Autodesk Inventor 3-D and AutoCAD drafting software
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the manufacturing process
- Registration as a CET in BC or Alberta
- Understanding of basic mechanical and structural engineering design principles
- Experience in water and wastewater treatment process design
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with other colleagues
