Job Summary
Inspect, remove, install, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, test, and modify jet, turbojet, and small gas turbine engines while supervising related activities. Perform periodic phase inspections on F15 A/C engines and remove/install F100 engines in F15 aircraft. Diagnose engine fault codes and troubleshoot secondary power and LRU's, including work in confined areas such as engine intakes or exhausts. Lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs. Train RSAF personnel to 5 and 7 skill levels. Requires proficiency in I.M. level repair procedures for P&W F100-220(E)/229 engines, with engine run certification within the last two years. Required Qualifications
- Must be proficient in I.M. level Repair procedures for P&W F100-220(E)/229 Engines
- Must be able to comply with F15 A/C engine Periodic Phase Inspections
- Must be able to remove/install F100 engine in F15 aircraft
- Must be able to troubleshoot engine Fault Codes of installed or uninstalled engines
- Must be able to work in confined area such as engine intake or exhaust
- Must be able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.)
- Must be able to troubleshoot Secondary Power& LRU's
- Highly familiar and working knowledge of F100-220(E)/229 GE F-100-129E engines, C Engine Disassembly, Inspection, Repair &, Assembly
- F100 Engine Removal & Installation in F15 A/C
- Troubleshooting of F100 Engine Installed or Uninstalled
- Troubleshoot/ Repair Secondary Power and LRU's
- Engine run certified within the last two (2) years
