Job Summary
Intermediate Laboratory Technician responsible for performing Marshall and Superpave tests in the Asphalt Laboratory, preparing detailed test-result reports, and maintaining test equipment. Collaborates with Materials and Geotechnical Engineers, operates computerized testing devices, and supports the CCIL Correlation Program. Requires strong written and verbal communication, ability to manage multiple projects, and a focus on Health and Safety. Asset considerations include CCIL Certification (or current enrollment) for CCIL Aggregates, field testing experience, and Civil Engineering Technology diploma progression. Office locations in Burnaby, BC or Calgary, AB with full-time status and potential overtime; valid Canadian driver’s license is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in Asphalt testing Laboratory
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel)
