Intermediate Interior Designer

Job Summary
Collaborate directly with the Project Manager to execute concept-driven interior design projects from start to finish. Prepare renderings and presentation materials for client and project meetings, while sourcing materials, finishes, fixtures, and furniture. Develop complete and detailed construction packages, assist with project coordination and contract administration, and ensure compliance with BC building codes. Requires proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch-up, Adobe, and Photoshop, along with a degree or diploma in Interior Design and at least three years of experience. Ideal for a fast-paced environment with strong communication and client-facing skills.
Required Qualifications
- Hold a Degree or Diploma in Interior Design
- Must be extremely proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch-up, Adobe and Photoshop
- Excellent understanding of construction drawings and specifications
- Excellent understanding of BC building code
- Minimum 3 years of experience
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as a team
- Must have a positive attitude and be enthusiastic about developing his or her interior design career
- Have great communication & client facing skills
Desired Qualifications
- Institutional experience in the healthcare, justice, and research facility areas of practice
