Intermediate Interior Designer

Job Summary
Lead projects from preliminary design through full documentation, implementation, and completion while collaborating with the internal team to develop creative solutions. Conduct space planning that reflects functional requirements and creative intent, then prepare documentation for FF&E selection, specification, and procurement, including detailed layouts and schedules. Manage contract documents across preliminary, tender, and construction packages, and participate in client meetings and presentations to provide clear design input. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the project lifecycle. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture, 3–6 years of experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada and able to commute daily to the Toronto office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or equivalent
- 3–6 years of professional experience in the interior design field
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
- Familiarity with SketchUp and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent understanding of shop drawings, product cut sheets, and installation manuals
- Solid knowledge of building codes, technical standards, and construction industry practices
- Detail-oriented with excellent organization and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently or within a team
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Must be able to reliably commute to the office in Toronto
