Job Summary
As an Intermediate Geotechnical Instrumentation Engineer, you will design, install, monitor, and maintain geotechnical and structural instrumentation systems. Responsibilities include planning and implementing geotechnical instrumentation systems, conducting field installations, analyzing instrumentation data for ground movements, troubleshooting equipment, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, 3-5 years of relevant experience, proficiency in instrumentation software, and strong problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in geotechnical instrumentation or a related role.
- Proficiency with instrumentation software and data analysis tools.
- Capable of installing and configuring robotic total station and solar power kit.
- Strong understanding of geotechnical principles, ground behavior, and monitoring systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work effectively in both field and office environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with advanced monitoring systems such as real-time data acquisition and remote monitoring platforms.
- Knowledge of construction and tunneling projects.
- Certifications in geotechnical instrumentation or related fields.
