Job Summary
Lead cloud cost optimization and FinOps governance initiatives to align spending with business objectives. Develop and maintain governance structures, collaborate with engineering to design cost-effective services, drive accountability for cost and quality, perform rightsizing and eliminate unused resources, monitor spending patterns for budgeting and forecasting, contribute to new features with cost considerations, and deliver insights on infrastructure costs relative to revenue and service utilization.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in computing-related fields (Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Analysis and Development)
- Advanced English (spoken and written) to communicate with international stakeholders
- Experience with FinOps practices and engineering knowledge across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud environments
- Ongoing work on cloud cost optimization and governance
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive FinOps principles and practices
- Track record of improving service delivery through cost-effective architectural decisions
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to predict financial impact of technical decisions
- Storytelling mindset connecting data insights to business impact
- Proactive, solution-oriented attitude; adaptable to tight deadlines and shifting priorities
- Strategic thinking connecting insights to business outcomes
