Intermediate FinOps Specialist

Job Summary
Lead FinOps initiatives to optimize cloud costs and resource utilization across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud; implement and maintain governance structures to centralize FinOps processes; collaborate with engineering to design cost-effective services, identify cost reductions and avoidance opportunities; drive accountability for cost and quality of applications/services; manage rightsizing, workload optimization, and elimination of unused resources; monitor spending patterns to inform budgeting and forecasting; contribute to new features with cost implications; facilitate cost allocation and provide insights on infrastructure costs relative to revenue and service utilization.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Computing-related fields (Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Analysis and Development)
- Advanced English (spoken and written)
- Experience with FinOps practices across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud
- Ongoing work on cloud cost optimization and governance
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive FinOps principles and practices
- Track record of improving service delivery through cost-effective architectural decisions
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to predict financial impact of technical decisions
- Storytelling mindset connecting data insights to business impact
- Proactive and solution-oriented attitude with adaptability to tight deadlines and shifting priorities
- Collaborative approach with international teams
- Detail-oriented with high-quality deliverables
- Strategic thinking aligning insights to business outcomes
