Job Summary
Intermediate Financial Analyst responsible for strategic financial support across business units, performing financial analysis and reporting for manufacturing operations, tracking costs and budgets, assisting in annual budgeting and forecasting, and collaborating with stakeholders across purchasing, logistics, sales, and operations. Emphasis on cost and management accounting, financial planning and analysis, budgeting/forecasting, and financial reporting with advanced Excel skills; role involves onboarding to new software to organize and manage projects within the manufacturing context. Located in Ottawa, ON with a predominantly on-site work model and occasional remote flexibility.
Required Qualifications
- College diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business or Economics or equivalent additional years of relevant work experience
- 3+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting positions
- Knowledge and experience with Cost and management accounting
- Financial planning and analysis
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Financial reporting and reconciliation
- Financial model development
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, and data modelling)
Additional Requirements
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- Able to obtain Government of Canada Secret (Level II) security clearance
