Intermediate Electrical Instrumentation & Controls Engineer

Job Summary
Deliver EI&C engineering for municipal infrastructure projects across Western Canada, designing electrical systems (power distribution, grounding, lighting, cable systems, drives, standby power, and low-voltage systems including fire alarm and security), and specifying process instrumentation and control systems for municipal/industrial applications. Provide electrical discipline leadership on small to mid-sized projects, ensure compliance with codes/standards and QA/QC, and collaborate with project managers, technical leads, and designers. Mentor junior team members and coordinate workloads to support efficient project delivery. Proficient in creating tender documents and diagrams (P&IDs, single line diagrams, wiring diagrams) and in tools such as AutoCAD and REVIT MEP. Prior experience with water/wastewater projects and knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code, IEEE, and building fire alarm/communication systems are advantageous. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 4+ years of related industry and engineering design experience in a multi-disciplinary electrical, instrumentation & control environment
- Registered Professional in Canada (EGBC preferred)
