Job Summary
Develop design solutions and coordinate projects from initial concept through final construction, acting as the primary client contact to understand visions and deliver results. Produce contract documents with support from senior staff, facilitate presentations, and manage work plans, schedules, and team assignments. Apply independent judgment to adapt standards to project requirements while ensuring seamless integration of all elements. This role sits within a forward-thinking Austin studio focused on producing functionally beautiful spaces for clients.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited program
- 3 5 years of experience in architectural practice with a focus on construction documentation
- Knowledge of architectural detailing and current construction standards
- Proficient in Revit and other design software and their application to Contract Documents
- Knowledge of codes consultants coordination civil mechanical electrical plumbing and structural and ability to successfully complete the permitting process with minimal aid and supervision
- Knowledge of design and construction project schedules as well as construction contract administration processes
- Ability to determine project entitlement and permitting needs for local jurisdictions
- Effective communication skills both conversational and written for project collaboration and documentation with a willingness to represent STG in front of clients

- Working knowledge of parametric modeling Grasshopper Dynamo a plus
