Job Summary
Manage control system infrastructure and software within a manufacturing facility, including reading prints, diagnosing design principles, and troubleshooting automation issues. Utilize Allen Bradley, Siemens, or Rockwell PLC programming experience to maintain control system networks and communication protocols. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Computer Science/Information Technology, or equivalent manufacturing control system experience, with a minimum of three years as a Controls Engineer, Programmer, or Technician. Located in Auburn Hills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Computer Science/Information Technology (IT) or degree in related field
- Equivalent manufacturing control system experience
- Experience working in a manufacturing facility
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Controls Engineer, Programmer, or Technician
- Allen Bradley, Siemens, or Rockwell PLC programming experience
- Functional knowledge of manufacturing automation control system infrastructure and software
- Ability to read prints and diagrams
- Thorough understanding of control system design principles
- Strong knowledge of control system networks and communication protocols
- Knowledge of all required control system software applications
- Ability to troubleshoot an array of control system issues
