Intermediate Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN) – PRN Day Shift

Provide direct patient care in the Intermediate Care Unit telemetry with 32 private rooms; assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care per established standards. Educate patients and families on illness/injury management and post-treatment home care needs. Participate in activities that promote patient safety, quality, regulatory compliance, and professional development. Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the interprofessional team, patient, and family; communicate plans across the care continuum. Demonstrate critical nursing skills for monitoring and addressing physical, psychosocial, emotional, and cultural needs; work in a safety-sensitive environment. The unit supports ADN/BSN/MSN candidates, with BSN differential and career-ladder opportunities; PRN day shift options (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) with a minimum 24 hours every 6 weeks.
