Intermediate Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN) - Day Shift

Provide direct patient care in the Intermedicate (Intermediate) Care Unit as an RN on the day shift. Responsibilities include patient assessment, diagnosis planning, implementation and evaluation of care plans, and discharge/ home-care education, with emphasis on telemetry and cardiac monitoring. Collaborates with an interprofessional team to ensure patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance; participates in professional development and uses nursing skills to address patients’ physical, psychosocial, emotional, and cultural needs. Role supports BSN-differential and career progression within the BJC HealthCare system; open to new graduates and experienced RNs with a 3–12 hour shift pattern and a sign-on option for eligible external candidates. Must hold RN licensure and have appropriate nursing education credentials (Nursing Diploma/Associate's) as part of the minimum requirements.
