Job Summary

Support senior engineers and specialists in avionics and electrical matters, including ongoing production support for non-conformances and cross-group engineering tasks. Provide technical support for sales and after-sales departments while advancing continuing airworthiness activities such as service bulletins and difficulty investigations. Implement design and manufacturing process changes to improve aircraft electrical systems, quality, safety, and performance. Review engineering change requests, develop certification plans for major type design changes, and generate test plans, analysis reports, and design reviews to substantiate regulatory compliance. Coordinate ground and flight testing, prepare flight test change orders, and produce compliance reports for civil aviation authorities.

Required Qualifications

  • 5 years Engineering experience
  • min 3 years relevant Aerospace Engineering
  • Knowledge of Part 23 certification regulations
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Aerospace and/or Electrical Engineering
  • Location: London, Ontario, Canada
  • Relocation Required

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with Garmin products
  • Experience with troubleshooting avionics or electrical issues
  • Experience with CAD tools
  • CATIA preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office products and collaborations tools
  • Experience writing technical reports
  • Previous or current delegation experience with a civil aviation authority
  • Professional Engineering Licence
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Able to prioritize tasks
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment
