Job Summary
As an Intermediate Asphalt Laboratory Technician, you will carry out Marshall and Superpave tests, ensure laboratory equipment is maintained and calibrated, and interact with Materials and Geotechnical Engineers. Required experience includes a minimum of 5 years in an Asphalt testing Laboratory and possessing current CCIL Certifications for HMA Marshall and Superpave as well as Aggregates. The role emphasizes strong Health and Safety practices and may require overtime during peak periods.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience in an Asphalt testing Laboratory
- Possess a current CCIL Certification for HMA Marshall and Superpave
- Possess a current CCIL Certification for Aggregates
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Marshall and Superpave Mix Designs is an asset
- Strong focus on Health and Safety
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
