Job Summary
As an Intermediate Air Quality Specialist, you will conduct air quality assessments, emissions inventories, and dispersion modelling for various projects. You should possess 3–6 years of experience in related fields, familiarity with air dispersion models, and the ability to analyze and validate monitoring data. Required Qualifications
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in air quality, atmospheric science, environmental engineering, or related fields
- Ability to interpret scientific data and translate it into clear, actionable insights
- Experience preparing high quality technical reports and regulatory documentation
- Experience with various air quality related regulatory reporting including NPRI, GHGRP, AEIR and TIER
- Ability to conduct occasional fieldwork to install, maintain and troubleshoot various air quality and meteorological monitoring equipment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with air dispersion models (AERMOD, CALPUFF, etc.)
- Familiarity with federal, provincial, and territorial environmental regulations
- Eligibility for or membership in a relevant professional association (e.g., P.Eng., P.Geo., or equivalent)
