Job Summary
Prepare accurate GAAP financial statements and reporting packages, including journal entries, supporting schedules, and analysis to meet closing schedule due dates. Execute reinsurance accounting, reconciliation, and reporting, creating quarterly and monthly bordereaux for brokers. Perform timely and accurate account reconciliations, analyze resolving items, and monitor cash settlements from Profit Centers and Reinsurers. Assist in supporting internal and external audits and examinations while driving continuous process improvement and progress measurement. Requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, 1-3 years of Property & Casualty Insurance accounting experience, and strong Excel competency. Salary range is $70K to $95K.
