Job Summary
Intermediate (5th-6th) Classroom Teacher ELA responsibilities include facilitating student success and growth in academic and interpersonal skills by implementing district-approved curriculum; documenting teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes; addressing specific educational needs of individual students; creating a flexible, safe, and optimal learning environment; and providing feedback to students, parents, and administration regarding progress and goals. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, 18 semester hours of relevant coursework, 2.7 GPA, ability to produce an official transcript, and eligibility for alternative licensure pathways (Emergency License, Residency License). Location: Candler, North Carolina, USA. Pay is State Teacher Salary with local supplement; benefits are included; 100% employment with full benefits; 10 months of employment per year; continuing position.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 18 semester hours of relevant coursework
- 2.7 GPA (undergraduate coursework or post-graduate coursework)
- Ability to produce an official, degree dated transcript from an accredited university
