Job Summary
Support the Head of Intermediary and Relationship Managers in distribution activities including client service follow-ups, portfolio and competitor analysis, CRM maintenance, and meeting coordination. Manage contact details and sales segment lists in Salesforce to drive sales efficiency, while owning responses to retail clients and outsourced providers. Assist with marketing campaigns via Salesforce and EDM generation, and construct presentations compiling competitor and client intelligence. Clearly communicate investment ideas and product information to clients and prospects, partnering with local Marketing and Investment Strategy teams to raise assets. Work closely with Business Intelligence to leverage client flow insights for effective sales plans.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years financial services experience
- preferably in client service or distribution support
- Strong client service capabilities
- some experience in the asset management industry
- Degree qualified
- Current JSDA type 1 qualification
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in Japanese and English
- 3 years working in a relevant financial services role providing client support for financial intermediaries
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications
- Working knowledge of ETFs and ITMs
- General understanding of asset allocation
Desired Qualifications
- experience in the asset management industry, (preferably ETFs and ITMs) for part or all your financial services career
- Has operated in a client service, sales support role
- Understands the various Intermediary market segments
- Degree preferably in Business or Finance field
- Confident enthusiastic and solution-oriented mind-set
- Ability to build positive relationships with internal and external clients
- Willingness to assume responsibility and take ownership of assigned tasks
- Good technical ability with investment industry knowledge
- Ability to work well within a team with strong organisational skills
