Job Summary
Manage employees performing engineering support and technical activities for the VC-25B program interior work packages. Develop and execute project and process plans, acquire resources, and provide technical management of suppliers while leading process improvements. Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes, and develop relationships with customers, stakeholders, and direct reports. Manage and motivate both direct and indirect employees to support key milestones and turn time metrics. This role requires 100% onsite presence in San Antonio, TX, with a requirement for a U.S. Secret Clearance and completion of a selection assessment.
Required Qualifications
- at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience)
- completed the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership"
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences) or Equivalent technical degree
- 3+ years of experience working cross functionally and/or managing external supplier relationships
- 100% onsite
- San Antonio, TX
- ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
- interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start
- complete an assessment as part of the selection process
