Job Summary
Interior Removal & Installation Technician responsible for the safe removal, inspection, and installation of aircraft interior components during maintenance, refurbishment, and modification projects. Emphasizes correct fit, structural integrity, and high-quality finish while complying with FAA regulations and FlyExclusive standards. Works with cabinetry, seats, sidewalls, headliners, flooring, lavatories, galleys, insulation, and other cabin components. Reads maintenance manuals and engineering drawings; uses hand tools, torque wrenches, drills, fasteners, adhesives, and specialty interior tools. Documents work orders and removal logs; communicates material shortages and issues to leadership; coordinates with Upholstery, Carpentry, and Finishing teams. Maintains safety, FOD control, and proper handling of chemicals. Overtime and weekend shifts may be required in fast-paced MRO environment.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3+ years of aircraft interior installation or removal experience preferred.
