Job Summary
Design or modify vehicle parts within a team environment involving external contractors and suppliers while implementing best practice engineering methods. Provide technical guidance to top management for strategic decisions and oversee day-to-day business activities, including conducting performance reviews. Operate in a fast-paced Start-up environment focused on mid to long term business and product plans for the VINFAST Vehicle institute. Requires 7+ years of automotive experience, a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, and demonstrated agility in matrixed organizations.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years experience in automotive or related industries
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Automotive, Electrical Engineering)
- Demonstrated agility in operating within matrixed organizations and teams
- High proficiency in written and spoken English
- Highly organized
- Effective communicator and able to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams from different areas of the company and with the key supplier
- Motivational skills
- In-depth knowledge in Interior engineering
- Highly motivated, self-starter, and active learner with strong interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to perform successfully in multi-national relationships
- Demonstrate a high degree of resilience and ability to deal with high pressure situations using a logical data driven approach
- Be accountable for delivery and demonstrate strong organizational skills
