Job Summary
Manage assigned client accounts and daily routes by grooming and trimming plants, probing soil for moisture, and cleaning vegetation as needed. Track tools on job sites, write up special services for scheduling, and identify plant replacements to install small specimens. Maintain a clean work vehicle, remove personal items daily, and adhere to company maintenance inspection policies. Ensure work sites are restored to original condition upon departure, report equipment issues immediately, and use time management skills to prioritize daily tasks. Drive safely in downtown urban areas while cultivating positive relationships with managers, co-workers, and customers.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one (1) year horticultural education or equivalent experience
- Must have a valid Driver's License and maintain a clean driving record
- Must be able to hand-carry buckets of water weighing 20-25 pounds frequently and on a daily basis
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
- Must be able to identify common tropical plants
- Must be able to drive in downtown urban areas
Desired Qualifications
- Tropical horticultural background preferred
