Job Summary
Manage assigned client accounts and daily routes by grooming and trimming plants, probing soil for moisture levels, and cleaning foliage with dusters or sprays. Maintain clean vehicles by removing personal items and adhering to inspection policies, while reporting accidents immediately. Identify plant replacements, create tickets, and install small replacements, ensuring work sites are restored to original condition upon departure. Track tools on job sites, write up special services for scheduling, and cultivate positive relationships with managers and customers. Use time management skills to prioritize daily tasks, communicate solution-oriented approaches to clients, and uphold Interior Service Department Quality Standards. Maintain a professional appearance, good hygiene, and a clean uniform while driving safely in downtown urban areas.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one (1) year horticultural education or equivalent experience
- Must have a valid Driver's License and maintain a clean driving record
- Must be able to identify common tropical plants
- Must be able to hand-carry buckets of water weighing 20-25 pounds frequently and on a daily basis
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
- Must have the ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to climb or balance
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
