Interior Integration Engineer

Job Summary
Support Design for Defense customers by executing approved modification data packages and responding to requests for proposals. Provide technical leadership to WP 4 team members, review engineering designs, and produce documentation including schedules (DPS) while reporting performance. Coordinate with subject matter experts, suppliers, internal departments, and regulatory agencies regarding the design, installation, integration, and certification of new interior components. Analyze proposed modifications for implications on other aircraft systems and liaise with vendors and Certification Engineering teams. Use judgment to recognize system impacts and provide visibility on execution issues to leadership. Some travel and occasional overtime may be necessary to meet deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a significant equivalent history of working experience
- 5 years of experience in aerospace industry
- Knowledge of interior completion and green aircraft engineering
- Knowledge of aircraft certification (Type Design and Supplemental Type Design, major repairs/modification, etc.)
- Some travel
- Occasional overtime
