Job Summary
Interior Installation Technician II performs removal, installation, and fabrication of aircraft interiors (e.g., galleys, closets, lavatories, bulkheads, panels) under general supervision. Responsible for coordinating with supervision and FAA paperwork, signing off on work, and complying with Repair Station procedures and quality standards. Must interpret routing, bracketry, and installation layouts using 3D modeling programs (CATIA, SolidWorks) and apply company/FAA installation standards. Tasks include using tools (hand tools, band saws, shears, sanders, brakes), maintaining equipment, preparing/installing interior items, removing/reinstalling hardware, and adhering to safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies. Additional duties involve supporting process improvements with Lean Six Sigma, creating patterns, and participating in flight tests as needed. Requires ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; read blueprints/engineering docs; climb ladders; lift up to 40 pounds; and work any shift. This is a full-time role based in St. Louis with weekend/day shifts available.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years of applicable installation, fabrication or related experience
