Job Summary
Interior Door Shop personnel assemble wood and metal components into wall panel finished products per design measurements and specifications. Key duties include placing pre-cut wood components onto a jig, joining components with a staple gun, accurately measuring panels to ensure accuracy, placing metal connector plates at joints, ensuring walls are built to safety and quality standards, and sending finished products to the packaging/shipping section of the production line. Requires blueprint reading, tape-measure reading, strong communication, confidentiality, and willingness to operate power tools; experience in interior door/millwork and machine operation is a plus; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work as part of a team. Required Qualifications
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to read or learn to read a tape measure
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
- Power tool and construction experience is a plus
- Interior Door knowledge and Millwork experience is a plus
- Machine Operating experience is preferred
- Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Good work ethic, time, attendance, and willingness to be a team player
