Job Summary
Conduct full-spectrum interior decorating services for clients, ranging from basic suggestions to complete floor plans with detailed attention. Translate design visions into presentations that meet client needs and drive sales while managing multiple projects and customers concurrently. Work both in-store and in customers' homes, utilizing 2D and 3D space planning, palette selections, and textiles. Maintain flexibility in work schedule to accommodate customer needs including weekends and holidays. Requires strong sales abilities, high personal integrity, and relevant design experience.
Required Qualifications
- Experienced designers or those just starting out in the design field
- Strong sales abilities and high personal integrity
- The creative talent needed to translate your vision into a presentation that will meet your client's needs and drive sales
- The ability to work both in-store and in customers' homes
- The ability to manage multiple projects and customers concurrently
- Flexibility in work schedule to meet customer needs including weekends and holidays
- Experience with 2D and 3D space planning
- Experience with palette selections and textiles
- DMV record must meeting insurability requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred experience would include a minimum of an associate's degree in interior design and/or extensive experience and training in a design field
