Job Summary
Create decorating solutions for clients ranging from small spaces to entire homes, developing floor plans and providing detailed suggestions within strict budgets. Translate design visions into presentations that meet client needs while driving sales through strong personal integrity and a one-price selling strategy. Manage multiple projects and customers concurrently, working both in-store and in customers' homes with flexibility for weekends and holidays. Utilize 2D and 3D space planning, palette selections, and textile expertise to help clients create the home of their dreams.
Required Qualifications
- Experienced designers or those just starting out in the design field
- Strong sales abilities
- High personal integrity
- The creative talent needed to translate your vision into a presentation that will meet your client's needs and drive sales
- The ability to work both in-store and in customers' homes
- The ability to manage multiple projects and customers concurrently
- Flexibility in work schedule to meet customer needs including weekends and holidays
- Experience with 2D and 3D space planning
- Experience with palette selections and textiles
- DMV record must meeting insurability requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred experience would include a minimum of an associate's degree in interior design and/or extensive experience and training in a design field
