Job Summary
Senior Interior Designer at Gensler leads interior design assignments from programming through construction administration for a landmark integrated resort project. Responsibilities include detailed programming, conceptual design, space planning, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration; provide design support for organization, production, and execution of projects; collaborate with core & shell teams, consultants, and partners; lead 3D modeling and renderings using Revit, SketchUp, Enscape and Adobe Creative Suite; generate interior architectural drawings, finish schedules, and specifications; coordinate with product reps, furniture dealers, and fabricators to meet client goals and budget; mentor junior designers and contribute to client relations; share in office initiatives and foster an interdisciplinary design approach.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design or Architecture
- NCIDQ certification required
- Architecture license encouraged
- 10+ years of relevant interior design experience with portfolio demonstrating various project phases
- Ability to communicate and present design concepts and rationales
- Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, Enscape, and/or other modeling software
- Knowledge of sustainable and universal design concepts
- Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and procurement of same
