Job Summary
Lead the La-Z-Boy In-Home Design program by translating client needs into actionable design concepts, conducting in-home consultations, and supporting sales teams with design expertise to meet store and individual design sales goals. Responsibilities include presenting customized portfolios, coaching sales teams on design concepts and product knowledge, collaborating with store management on operational execution, creating design concepts with finishes and decor, and upholding brand standards. Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 2-3 years in sales or interior design with residential emphasis. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and CAD programs, strong interpersonal, analytical, and customer service skills, and the ability to travel as needed. Training pay is $20 per hour for 2-6 weeks with no commission; post-training earning potential ranges from $60,000 to $90,000+ inclusive of base, bonus, and commission.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 2-3 years in sales or interior design with residential emphasis
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and CAD programs
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Valid driver’s license
